Nancy, please just drop dead

To maximize your viewing, I’ve added what she wanted to say in the transcript below. Enjoy.

Today is the feast of St. Joseph the Worker [or some other guy], particularly significant to Italian Americans. And it’s a day where we remember and pray to St. Joseph to benefit the workers of America [Vive la revolution of Che and Lenin!]. And that’s exactly what our healthcare bill will do. I’m [not] very excited about the [lack of] momentum that is developing around the bill. Some of you were present earlier in the week when we started with little children — babies as young as 6 weeks old [the ones who weren't aborted] — to talk about what it means to them. Moving onto young people a couple of days ago, to seniors, to women, to small businesses. This is very important legislation. So, again, as I say to you every time I see you, we’re one day closer to passing historic legislation which will make history of course, but progress for the American people.

I’m pleased that we got a letter representing 60 leaders of religious orders. Sisters, I’m pleased to say, the school sisters of Notre Dame and the sisters of Notre Dame de Namur — two sisters who taught me in my life are on the list. But every order that you can think of was there, saying that they wanted us to pass this life-affirming legislation. [Okay well legislation at least.]

Nancy Pelosi is doing nothing more than trying to remind the pro-lifers who are hesitant to vote ‘yes’ that religious groups are supporting the bill. However, I have to ask…since when do Democrats pray?

burn in hell you racist basturd

  2. Greg Stewart, Toronto Says:

The phrase “don’t feed the troll” is ringing in my ears, but Mahmoud…maybe learn to spell “bastard” first before you start using it as an insult. I apologize, however…I know seven letter words my not be taught in your Iranian jihad school.

  3. Dan in Wisconsin Says:

I agree…except if she dropped dead this blog wouldn’t be nearly as interesting.

  4. Peter Thomas Says:

The left only seems to be Christian when they need the votes. The next day they’re back to taking money from the Godless Americans PAC.

  5. Nich McLeod Says:

The amount of things wrong there is unbelievable. The Catholic blogs lit up at this. Firstly, it is not St. Joseph the Worker. It is the Solemnity of St. Joseph, most chaste spouse of the Mother of God and adoptive father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She doesn’t even know her own religion. Thats not a surprise, she hasn’t been in communion with the Church or Christ for quite a while.

Then when she starts talking about the LCWR endorsing the bill saying “But every order that you can think of was there, saying that they wanted us to pass this life-affirming legislation.” Lies, lies and more lies. A couple dozen people signed it, one twice! There are a reason why these orders are being investigated by the Vatican. Also the other group representing (real) nuns in america is the MSCWR which has come out unanimously AGAINST the bill.

“life-affirming legislation” my ass. Tell that to the 3600 children killed in the US every day and the thousands more who will die when this bill passes.”

  6. Andrew Lawton Says:

Thank you for clarifying those things Nich. Not being a Catholic I don’t regularly keep up with the Vatican news, but I could definitely tell that there were some inconsistencies between her comments and…well, facts.

Hopefully the voters will see through this as well.
